At IS339, parents are an important part of our community. We are excited and looking forward to building a strong relationship that will last for years to come. We are dedicated to developing high achieving students of good character. Our foundation of values includes academic achievement, community, citizenship, insightful living, and self respect. All of these key elements are essential in having a productive life. It is our belief that every child has a right to a fair and equitable education, therefore we welcome you into our extended family. Together we will prepare our students/children to compete in this ever-changing world. They will attain their goals and dreams.

Our P.A. offers parents an opportunity to become involved in the life of the school through its support of a variety of programs and events during the school year. All current parents are encouraged to get involved in different activities to meet other parents and stay connected to the school. If you would like to be more involved with planning any event with the Parents Association please contact Mr. Echavarria via email @ echavarria@is339.org
Our mission is to cultivate and develop the entire school community so that all students are college-and-or career ready. With foci on all populations of Students are required to wear school uniforms, which are as follows:
6th Grade: White polo shirt and khaki pants
7th Grade: Red polo shirt and khaki pants
8th Grade: Navy blue polo shirt and khaki pants
